I
received one email asking “Hi Mr. Jobless do you have any idea on how H.R’s, or
Employers look at applicants CV?” This caught my attention so I wondered and do
some research, about what is the perspective of Human Resources? , Or employers?
So
I came up with the research, and some studies in some universities, and surveys,
and make a list of best explanation on, how do they look up applicants

Here’s the list of top answer on How Employer Look at Your
Curriculum Vitae or Resume
1
Eye catcher paper
Did you know that 5 out of 10 applicants CV’s
or Resume have not being red by employers, hr’s, or recruiters. Some of the
reason in fact is that your CV doesn’t have the right arrangement or lack of creativity
or lack of important part rather than unnecessary elements.
Many of my friends in HR’s and Recruitment field rely on this fast screening technique
called EYE CATCHER PAPER, the technique is to look at the CV’s one-by-one at
least ten seconds and choose the creative and sensible one. So even though your
CV’s is having a professional background, or lots of good points but lack of
appearance there still a big chance that your CV will not get chosen.
2 Pleasing Words
Employers
and HR’s around the world, have a thing in common, they do get annoyed and
intimidated once they red this kind of words on a CV or Resume,” Think outside of
the box, Synergy, Results-driven,
Team
player, Hard worker, Strategic thinker, Dynamic, Self-motivated,
Detail
oriented’’ based on some studies, this words are use around the world they call
it “PLEASING WORDS’’. so the next time you write a CV or Resume make sure to avoid
this kind of words and use alternative words.
3
CV or Resume
Structure
One
of the key factors that HR or Employer look up to is how you arrange your CV’s
or resumes structure? it is important that you arrange your CV on the right
structured for easy reading, and eye catching CV’s, make sure to highlight all
the special Details make the font Bold, especially your educational background,
experience, or for students or fresh grad make sure to highlight your skills. And
last but not the least make sure to use the right font family or style, don’t use
annoying fonts.
4
CV or Resume Pages
Many
applicants believed in the saying “the more the merrier’’ but in reality in job
industries, the more pages your CV or resume are, the more likely to be not red
by the employer, it defends though if you are at managerial position or high
profile position they usually have loads of resume page, but in average
position or starter position, we just need to have at least 2-3 pages of resume
or CV, remember we are writing our own “summary” we are not writing a “novel”
or “newspaper”.
